Wendy Tan Shiau Wei

Wendy Tan Shiau Wei is a freelance illustrator, storyboard artist, and visual development artist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her work spans children’s books, middle-grade novels, character and product design, and animation, and she has been represented for publishing projects by Astound US.

Her published illustration credits include Invasion of the Pugs: A Branches Book (Pets Rule! #5) by Susan Tan, as well as other books in the Pets Rule! series, the Girls Survive series, and several graphic-novel and nonfiction titles. Biographical profiles note that she studied design, graduated from Saito College with a diploma in Multimedia Design, and began her career in Malaysia’s animation industry as a storyboard artist and visual development artist.
