Wendy W. Lochner
Wendy Whitehair Lochner, EdD, is an adjunct professor at Shepherd University and vice president of 2Teach, LLC, an educational consulting firm specializing in inclusive education and co-teaching. She previously worked for the West Virginia Department of Education for nine years as a school improvement coordinator, following a career as a PK–12 special education teacher. Her areas of expertise include strategic planning, school improvement, data analysis, curriculum and instruction, pedagogy, collaboration, inclusion, and professional development.
Lochner is co-author of Beyond Co-Teaching Basics: A Data-Driven, No-Fail Model for Continuous Improvement (ASCD, 2017), written with Wendy W. Murawski, and co-founder of the Co-Teaching Solutions System, a software and professional resource to support co-teaching implementation. She has also co-authored the article “Observing Co-Teaching: What to Ask For, Look For, and Listen For” in Intervention in School and Clinic, contributing to the evidence base on effective co-teaching practices.
