Weston Kieschnick
Weston Kieschnick is an award-winning educator, best‑selling author, and TEDx speaker known for his work on student engagement and blended learning. A former teacher, department chair, assistant principal, instructional coach, instructional development coordinator, and dean of education, he has worked with educators from every U.S. state and more than 30 countries, and serves as a Senior Fellow at the International Center for Leadership in Education (ICLE). His teaching career began internationally in Hamilton, Bermuda, where he taught social studies and was a three‑time recipient of the public schools’ “Most Influential Teacher” award.
Kieschnick is the author of The Educator’s ATLAS: Your Roadmap to Engagement, which introduces the ATLAS model, a five‑point roadmap for capturing and sustaining student engagement throughout a lesson. He is also the author of Bold School and Breaking Bold, and co‑author of The Learning Transformation: A Guide to Blended Learning for Administrators. In addition, he is the creator and host of Teaching Keating, a widely downloaded podcast for educators and parents that blends pop culture and pedagogy.
