    Author

    William Vanderbloemen

William Vanderbloemen is an entrepreneur, pastor, speaker, and author, best known as the founder and CEO of Vanderbloemen Search Group, an executive search firm serving churches, ministries, schools, and faith-based nonprofits around the world. Drawing on more than fifteen years of experience as a senior pastor, including revitalizing churches in North Carolina, Alabama, and Texas and serving as senior pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Houston, he combines deep ministry background with executive search expertise and prior work in human resources at a Fortune 200 company. He holds degrees from Wake Forest University (history) and Princeton Theological Seminary (MDiv).

Vanderbloemen is the author of Be the Unicorn: 12 Data-Driven Habits that Separate the Best Leaders from the Rest, which distills insights from proprietary data and tens of thousands of interviews conducted through his search firm to identify common habits of top-performing leaders. He has also written other leadership and ministry-focused books, including Culture Wins: The Roadmap to an Irresistible Workplace and Next: Pastoral Succession That Works, further establishing his expertise in organizational culture, succession planning, and leadership in faith-based contexts.
