Xiaoxue Du is a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) alumna of Teachers College, Columbia University, where she studied Instructional Technology and Media. According to Teachers College and MIT Media Lab materials, her work has focused on AI literacy, inclusive education, assessment, and assistive technology, and she previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the MIT Media Lab in the Personal Robots Group, where her research centered on K-12 AI literacy in inclusive classrooms.
Du is the co-author, with Irina Lyublinskaya, of Teaching AI Literacy Across the Curriculum: A K-12 Handbook. Source material from Teachers College also identifies her as a TC alumna (Ed.D. ’22) and notes that she has co-developed AI-literacy resources for educators.
