Chris Weber
Chris Weber, EdD, is an educator, school leader, and nationally recognized expert in Response to Intervention (RTI), behavior, mathematics, and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). He has served as a teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels and as a site and district administrator, including principal and assistant superintendent roles in California and Chicago, where he helped develop RTI systems that significantly raised student achievement in historically underperforming groups. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and former U.S. Air Force pilot, he later earned a master’s degree from California State University San Marcos and a doctorate in education from the University of California, with his EdD cited as from UCLA.
Weber is the coauthor of RTI Is a Verb and Positive Behaviors Start With Positive Mindsets: Twenty-Eight Actions to Motivate Students and Boost Achievement, both written with Tom Hierck.
