Heather Friziellie
Heather Friziellie is the superintendent of Fox Lake Grade School District 114 in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. She previously served as director of educational services for Kildeer Countryside District 96 and as both an elementary principal and a middle school principal; earlier in her career, she was a classroom teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Indiana Wesleyan University, and an education specialist degree from Northern Illinois University.
Friziellie is a coauthor of Yes We Can!: General and Special Educators Collaborating in a Professional Learning Community (2016) and is credited as a contributor to Professional Learning Communities at Work® and High Reliability SchoolsTM: Cultures of Continuous Learning. She has also been described as a national presenter for Solution Tree and a consultant who has presented to districts across the country.
