Jason Williams

Jason Williams is an educator and author focused on building healthy, student-centered data cultures in K–12 schools. He holds an EdD and works with teachers and school leaders on using data to drive meaningful decisions, collaboration, and improved student learning. His work emphasizes balancing data-based decision making with attention to students’ individual needs and the broader school culture.

Williams is the author of Shared Data, Shared Decisions: A Student-Centered Framework for a Healthy Data Culture (The intersection of data practices and school culture), published by Solution Tree Press in 2025. In this book, he presents a practical framework and five key qualities of a healthy data culture, offering K–12 educators tools to identify clear learning targets, build trust through transparent collaboration, and turn data into actionable plans that improve student outcomes.
