Kathleen Maloney

Kathleen Maloney is the chief operating officer of The Writing Revolution, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving students’ writing, reading, and critical thinking through the Hochman Method. In this role, she oversees the organization’s daily operations and works with its leadership to shape strategic direction.

Before becoming COO, Maloney was an English teacher and literacy coach who implemented the Hochman Method in her own classroom and led its schoolwide adoption. She is a credited coauthor of The Writing Revolution 2.0: A Guide to Advancing Thinking Through Writing in All Subjects and Grades, alongside Judith C. Hochman and Natalie Wexler, with Doug Lemov contributing the foreword.
