Kris Rouleau

Kris (Kristin) Rouleau, Ed.D., is vice president of Learning Services at McREL International, where she leads a team that works with schools, districts, and state education agencies to implement evidence-based practices for high-quality instruction, leadership, and systemic improvement. She brings more than 25 years in education as a classroom teacher, curriculum specialist, elementary school principal, and district-level curriculum administrator, experience that includes designing and leading her district’s first centralized literacy coach cadre for K–12 teachers.

Rouleau is coauthor of several books on teaching, learning, and school improvement, including Learning That Sticks: A Brain-Based Model for K–12 Instructional Design and Delivery, The New Classroom Instruction That Works: The Best Research-Based Strategies for Increasing Student Achievement, and Unstuck: How Curiosity, Peer Coaching, and Teaming Can Change Your School, as well as Curiosity Works: A Guidebook for Moving Your School from Improvement to Innovation and Research-Based Instructional Strategies That Work.
