Laura L. Bierema

Laura L. Bierema is a professor in the Adult Learning, Leadership, and Organization Development program at the University of Georgia’s Mary Frances Early College of Education. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Michigan State University and earned her doctorate in adult education from the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on workplace learning, career development, women’s development, organization development, executive and team coaching, leadership, and critical human resource development.

Bierema has published extensively, with more than 160 publications and 10 books cited in university and publisher profiles. Her books include Adult Learning: Linking Theory and Practice and Connecting Adult Learning and Knowledge Management: Strategies for Learning and Change in Organizations.
