Lynn Geronemus Bigelman

Lynn Geronemus Bigelman is an educator and author specializing in differentiated reading instruction. She co‑authored No More Reading Instruction Without Differentiation in Heinemann’s Not This, But That series, alongside Debra S. Peterson, with contributions from Nell K. Duke and Ellin Oliver Keene. The book presents a practical framework for adapting reading instruction to students’ individual needs and interests.

Bigelman has been a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and for more than fourteen years an elementary school principal. She has also served as president of the Michigan Reading Association and the Oakland County Reading Council, reflecting her leadership in literacy education at the state and regional levels.
