Michael J. Lynch
Michael J. Lynch is an educational leader and coauthor of Test-Specific Thinking: Teaching Students to Think the Way Tests Make Them (Marzano Resources, 2025). In this work, he collaborates with Robert J. Marzano and other educators to provide practical strategies for helping K–12 teachers implement structural schemas and teach the specific thinking skills demanded by standardized tests.
Lynch has more than 30 years of experience as a teacher, coach, principal, academic director, and executive in multiple Colorado school districts. He has focused his career on supporting and empowering school leaders across diverse communities and has served as a lead trainer for McREL’s Balanced Leadership program, facilitating professional development for districts of varying sizes. He has also taught as a graduate instructor for several colleges and universities.
