Robert Kegan
Robert Kegan is an American developmental psychologist, writer, and former Harvard Graduate School of Education professor specializing in adult development, adult learning, and professional development. He was the William and Miriam Meehan Professor in Adult Learning and Professional Development at Harvard and taught there for forty years before retiring in 2016.
Kegan is the coauthor of How the Way We Talk Can Change the Way We Work: Seven Languages for Transformation (2001) with Lisa Laskow Lahey and Immunity to Change: How to Overcome It and Unlock the Potential in Yourself and Your Organization (2009), also with Lahey. His earlier books include The Evolving Self and In Over Our Heads, which are widely cited as foundational works in adult development.
