Tammy Heflebower

Tammy Heflebower, EdD, is an education consultant, author, and speaker with extensive experience in K–12 systems across urban, rural, and suburban districts in the United States and internationally, including work in Canada, Europe, Australia, and other countries. She has served as an award-winning classroom teacher, building- and district-level leader, regional professional development director, national and international trainer, and adjunct professor of curriculum, instruction, and assessment at several universities. A graduate of Hastings College with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, she earned a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha and a Doctor of Education from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, and later became vice president and senior scholar at Marzano Research before founding and leading her own consulting firm, !nspire Inc. (also referred to as Inspire Consulting), based in Colorado.

Heflebower is a prolific author on standards-based learning, assessment, and school leadership, having written or co-written more than a dozen books and articles on educational leadership, teambuilding, and instructional practice.
