Tanya Milner-McCall

Tanya Milner-McCall is a twenty-nine-year veteran classroom teacher in Carrollton, Georgia. She is certified in Early Childhood Education and Middle Grades Education and holds a Gifted Endorsement. According to Heinemann, she has taught fourth grade for 12 years, fifth grade for 15 years, and sixth grade for 2 years, and she and several of her team members were recognized as Instructional Excellence recipients in 2012.

Milner-McCall is a coauthor of No More Teaching Without Positive Relationships, published by Heinemann in 2020 with Jaleel R. Howard and Tyrone C. Howard. Heinemann also notes that she received a Golden Apple Award in 2017 from an honor graduate whose life she had impacted.
