Tesha Ferriby Thomas
Dr. Tesha Ferriby Thomas, EdD, is an education author, consultant, and presenter with more than three decades of experience as a classroom teacher, department chair, assistant principal, and assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction. Based in Michigan, she has worked as a school improvement facilitator and language arts consultant for the Macomb Intermediate School District, supporting struggling districts and school leaders in embedding systemic practices to improve student achievement. She is the president of 3-R Leadership, LLC and serves as an author and associate with Solution Tree, where she specializes in implementing the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) model in schools across the United States.
Thomas is coauthor of several books on coaching and collaborative teams in PLCs, including Amplify Your Impact: Coaching Collaborative Teams in PLCs, How Schools Thrive: Building a Coaching Culture for Collaborative Teams in PLCs at Work®, and Energize Your Teams: Powerful Tools for Coaching Collaborative Teams in PLCs at Work®. She is also coauthor of The Coach’s Compass: Navigating Tiered Coaching in a PLC at Work®, which introduces a tiered coaching framework (MTSS-C) and the Coach’s Compass model for instructional coaching.
